Drashti Dhami's exit from Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka was nothing less of a shock for the viewers. And well, turns out there was more than her not wanting to age on screen that led her to uitting the show.

Colors Tv Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka has been currently witnessing some high voltage drama with everything that is about to happen between Mauli and her daughter Mishti.

While Mauli (Aditi Sharma) is contemplating returning to Kunal and Pari so that she can provide her with the love of her mother, Mishti is going to have too much thinking to do and will think that Mauli Sachdev will not return to her and doesn’t love her just as much. Post leap, the track in the show has been focusing on just the kids, and well, it won’t be wrong to say that Drashti Dhami is being missed after all.

Drashti’s exit from the show was rather sudden and it came across as a major shocker to everyone, especially the fans. Fans of the actress were furious over this decision, but there’s little that anyone could have done about it.

However, while the reason for her quitting the show was being said to be her not wanting to age on screen, turns out there was more than just that. While it was the primary reason that led her into quitting the show, there was something more to it too.

And this journey of Nandini on “Silsila” come to an end today.... It’s been short but one helluva of a journey..... I still remember the outdoor shoot in Goa like it happened yesterday to working with new co stars who are my friends today...actually very very good friends & to the sheer hard work I put in to bring “Nandini” to life on screen... It’s actually been a roller coaster rides which has been bumpy, but been a huge learning for me both as an actor as well as a person... I do want to thank my producers [this is my 2nd show with them] the channel, my co actors/colleague on this show and everyone associated with this show & to my fans who have been so so supportive.... Apart from not wanting to play a mother on screen, she also did not want to be the insecure wife. According to reports, post Kunal (Shakti Arora) and Nandini’s marriage,

 Drashti Dhami would become the insecure wife, and well, that added to her apprehensions about being stay put on the show.

During the run, Drashti Dhami received a lot of backlash for her character of Nandini, as she was the other woman in the show and was responsible for breaking a marriage. However, over time, her character subsided and was gradually shown as dead following a Silsila leap.
